The old saying “if you build it, they will come,” is long outdated and far from the truth when it comes to surviving in today’s retail environment. When you’re doing a pop-up shop, you have a little bit more of an edge. Carlings must have been aware of the fact that it’s not sufficient to entice consumers with the appeal of being temporary. They turned the Sneak In concept store into a denim paradise, giving scandinavian brands like Tiger of Sweden, Nudie Jeans or Vailent a new home in Vienna for the next couple weeks (until the 21st of march). On top they threw a kick-ass opening party, offering a special discount on clothes, free drinks and food, live tattooing, a barber service and some nice hip hop tunes by the scandinavian DJ duo 3000 T E X T U R E S. Big thanks to Carlings at this point for having me and for the lovely Nudie Jeans bomber jacket, which you see me wearing on top. I will present you my whole look by Carlings in a couple of days.
